Senator Mustapha Mourns Former IEDPU National President, Amb. Abdulazeez Uthman

The Turaki of Ilorin and Lawmaker representing Kwara Central, Senator Saliu Mustapha has expressed deep sorrow over the death of a former National President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Ambassador Sheikh Abdulazeez Uthman.

In a condolence message issued on Sunday, the Senator described the late Ambassador Uthman as a prominent son of Ilorin Emirate whose service to the Emirate and his contributions to community development would be fondly remembered.

He noted that the death was not only a loss to the family and the Ilorin Emirate but also a painful personal loss to him.

Senator Mustapha extended his heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, Executive members of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), the entire people of Ilorin Emirate and the family of the deceased over the painful loss.

The Senator prayed that Almighty Allah forgives the shortcomings of the deceased, grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and gives the family, the Emirate, and the entire IEDPU the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.
