Mawlid Nabbiy: Senator Mustapha Felicitates Muslims, Urges Emulation of Prophet Muhammad’s Virtues

The lawmaker representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated Muslims in his constituency and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Mawlid Nabiyy.

In a statement issued by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, to commemorate the occasion, Senator Mustapha described Mawlid Nabbiy, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as a period of reflection and recommitment to the exemplary life, teachings and virtues of the holy Prophet.

He urged Muslims to uphold the virtues exemplified by the Prophet, noting that living with sincerity, humility, and empathy can strengthen social harmony and nurture a spirit of togetherness in the nation.

Senator Mustapha, who is the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, specifically charged the Muslim faithful to also use this holy occasion to offer fervent prayers for divine intervention in overcoming the security challenges confronting the state and the country at large.

While wishing the Muslim Ummah a joyous celebration, the Senator prayed that the occasion would bring renewed hope, unity, and blessings to families, the people of his constituency and Nigeria as a whole.
