The lawmaker representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Alhaji Umar Aiyelebegan.
Senator Mustapha described the late Aiyelebegan as a committed party leader and respected elder whose wisdom, loyalty, and commitment to the ideals of the APC will be sorely missed.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the leadership and members of the APC in Kwara State, and the entire Ilorin Emirate community.
The Senator prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Aiyelebegan, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and give his family and loved ones the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
