Senator Saliu Mustapha Mourns As Daudu Ballah Passes On

The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, extends his heartfelt condolences to the Ilorin Emirate Council under the guardianship of Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the Emir of Ilorin Emirate; the Kwara State government; the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) on the passing of Alhaji Salman Olarongbe Abdulkadir, the Daudu Ballah.

Distinguished Senator Saliu Mustapha, in a statement issued by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, also condoles with the immediate and extended families of the deceased, the illustrious sons and daughters of Ballah community and the entire people of Asa Local Government Area over the unfortunate incident.

In his own words, the Turaki of Ilorin said he maintained a very close and cordial relationship with the late Daudu . “In my dual capacities first as the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, and as the Senator representing the District, I had the privilege of constant interactions with the late Daudu Ballah. His gentle disposition, deep wisdom and profound insights on socio-econimic issues left a lasting impression on me and on all who had the privilege of knowing him”.

During his reign as the district head of Ballah, Alhaji Salman Olarongbe Abdulkadir contributed significantly to the social and physical advancement of the ancient community, as exemplified with the successful construction and take off of the Ballah Police Secondary School.

The Turaki of Ilorin prays to the Almighty Allah to grant the late Daudu Ballah forgiveness for his shortcomings and eternal peace in Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time,” Senator Mustapha said, “and we pray that they find solace and strength in the memories of their beloved patriarch.”
