Construction of 1KM Asphaltic Road at Al-Hikmah – Oke Foma Link Road in Ilorin West LGA

The construction of 1 kilometre Al-Hikmah University-Onimalu Road is one of the first major capital projects facilitated by Senator Saliu Mustapha within his first 365 days in office.

The road is a strategic link between Al-Hikmah University road in Adewole area to Oke-Foma road of Ilorin West LGA. It traverses two wards – Adewole and Ubandawaki in Ilorin West LGA of Kwara Central Senatorial District.

The road is a major relief for staff and students of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin as well as residents of over 15 neighbourhoods around Oke Foma-Gaa Saka axis. It also eases the ever busy Mandate-Adeta-Oloje road newly constructed by the Kwara State Government.

The road project, which was started in January 2024, was completed in record time in April, 2024.
